Do I need my own storage?
No. Uploads use Khaos storage by default and the first TB is included. Attaching your own storage is optional — useful when you want more capacity without growing the Khaos plan, or when you'd rather media live in an account you already own.
Is egress billed separately?
No under normal use. Accounts have a 2x plan-TB monthly soft cap to prevent hotlink abuse. At the cap, requests return HTTP 429 with a dashboard path to review the account.
